SERVICES

COMMUNITY KITCHEN

Food is often the first reason people seek out One80 Place. Our Community Kitchen serves an average of 185 lunches a day to anyone in need.

VETERAN SERVICES

One80 Place provides Veteran Services to men and women who have served, or live with a spouse who has served, in the military.

WOMEN & FAMILIES

One80 Place has a shelter dedicated to women and children in downtown Charleston.

HEALTH CARE

Health issues are both a cause and a result of being homeless. One of the first things we offer those seeking our help is a complete medical screening in our Homeless Health Clinic.

LEGAL SERVICES

Many homeless individuals and families have little understanding of their legal rights and have a general distrust for the system.

EMPLOYMENT & EDUCATION

Nearly half of people seeking our help lack a high school education or GED. Many more are unemployed and do not have the skills required for long term, stable professions.

COUNSELING

Each new client at One80 Place is assigned to a dedicated case manager. All of our case managers have master’s degrees and appropriate licensure to provide the best assistance to our guests.

RISE

Raising Individual Skills for Employment, better known as the RISE Program, is a basic job training program at One80 Place.

RAPID REHOUSING

Our approach is to quickly rehouse guests to end their homelessness and provide supportive services to make sure they aren't homeless again.
