Under Our Roof

You provide on-site health care.

Those who are homeless often have unmet medical needs that are broad, multidimensional and contribute to increased mortality. Chronic medical conditions, mental health, substance abuse, trauma, dental and vision issues, among others are some of the many medical issues faced by homeless individuals. These conditions often go untreated or treated at an exorbitant cost due to the fact that most homeless individuals have no health insurance and have low to no-income.

Your support helped provide our guests with the screenings and medications necessary to avoid the agonizing choice between health and housing.

More than 3,300 medical visits are conducted in the health clinic every year. More than 30 volunteer doctors, medical students, nurses, and nursing students work with One80 Place’s staff nurse to deliver quality primary care to guests. Thanks to you, guests have a facility that is well-equipped and provides the privacy and safety that they deserve.
