A 24-HOUR HOUSING SUCCESS STORY.

One80 Place staff became connected with Lisa, a homeless transgender Veteran, after she visited the local VA hospital looking for help. With shelter being restricted during the pandemic, Lisa was referred to One80 Place Veterans Services to see what we could do. As it turns out, a lot could be done.

On a Thursday, Lisa met with an One80 Place’s Veterans intake coordinator, and by that Friday evening, she had moved into an apartment. All of this (ending homelessness) was done remotely and within 24 hours!
