Raise money and awareness for those experiencing homelessness all throughout March Madness Tournament!

In 2020, Wade Altum, who is now a sixth grader at Daniel Island School turned his love for basketball into a mission to help others by creating Hoops Against Homelessness.

Combining his love for basketball and helping others, Wade challenged his friends and family to shoot ten free throws and donate for every free throw made.

Since then, the campaign has taken off and now it is your turn to join the team and make a difference in your community!

  • Host a dribbling contest; donate registration fee to the contest;

  • Open a concessions bake sale and donate the proceeds;

  • Put on a 3-v-3 tournament and donate team β€œbuy in” fee;

  • Create a bracket tournament and donate a portion of proceeds;

  • Get your favorite restaurant, bar, or business to have a themed, specialty food item and donate proceeds;
