Ask Us Anything
ARE MEALS SERVED IN THE COMMUNITY KITCHEN EXCLUSIVELY FOR CLIENTS?
No. While breakfast and dinner are reserved for guests staying at One80 Place, lunch is served daily from 12 AM to 1 PM to anyone in the community in need of a meal.
WHAT SKILLS DO TRAINEES GAIN THROUGH ONE80 PLACE TRAINING?
During the 5-week program, trainees work with our kitchen staff as well as guest chefs from local restaurants and businesses to learn cooking terms, knife skills, egg cookery, sauces, and more. Trainees also become ServSafe certified, and during their last week, they complete an externship to put their new skills to the test in a real fast-paced kitchen.
CAN VOLUNTEERS HELP IN THE KITCHEN?
Yes, volunteers are needed to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Shifts are easy to sign-up for and can be found on our website by visiting our volunteer calendar.
