One80 Place Has a New Board Chair

One80 Place’s Board of Directors elects Scott D. Adams FY 2016-2017 chair

Charleston, SC, August 4, 2016, One80 Place announced today Scott D. Adams will serve as chair of One80 Place’s Board of Directors.

Scott has been serving on One80 Place’s Board of Directors for five years. An alum of the College of Charleston, Scott has had an extensive career in real estate, enjoying a successful tenure at Faison before founding AdamsMoseley Properties (with Bill Moseley). His achievements have continued with the founding of Adams & Wilson Development, where Scott counsels clients such as Whole Foods and Starbucks, as well as develops sites for CVS Pharmacy.

“Scott’s dedication to our mission is strong.  He has the leadership and vision to continue moving the organization forward,” said Stacey Denaux, CEO of One80 Place.

Scott is succeeding Paul Kohlheim as chair. Paul will continue to serve on the board of directors as Immediate Past Chair.  Scott’s term leading the board will include some new members. They are Ernie Cochran (K&L Gates Law Firm), Herbert Drayton (Vertical Holdings, LLC), Geno Paluso (The Citadel), Colleen Troy (TouchPoint Communications), and Jerome Taylor (City of Charleston Police Department).
