Kristina, 22, had been experiencing homelessness for over two years before becoming a client in One80 Place’s Youth Rapid Re-housing program. Caring for her infant, 15-month-old, and three-year-old without any support was daunting. With bills mounting and a limited income, Kristina was forced to move her family into her car.

Once connected with One80 Place, Kristina stressed to her case manager, Shameka, how determined she was to make a better life for her and her children. They were placed in a hotel and provided meals and supportive services while housing was being located. Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, Kristina and her family received housing assistance, groceries, diapers, formula, and more. Kristina and her children are now housed, she is employed, and continues to work closely with One80 Place to maintain her housing and work towards achieving her goal of becoming a nurse assistant.
