CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - One80 Place is a homeless shelter in downtown Charleston and they are encouraging their clients to get vaccinated.

One80 Place Chief Development Officer Marco Corona says about a dozen of the clients staying in the shelter have received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

However, he says they’re still dealing with challenges because of the pandemic.

Corona says many of the shelter’s clients have underlying health conditions that make them eligible to get the vaccine.
