YOU HELP PROVIDE SERVICES OUTSIDE THE SHELTER.

As an outreach coordinator, Aaron’s main goal is to assist clients in breaking the cycle of homelessness by moving them from the street to shelter, accessing necessary social services, and/or obtaining permanent housing. Whether it is helping a client locate necessary documentation, hand out hygiene kits, or visit congregate living sites to connect with individuals with no phones or reliable means of transportation, Aaron works tirelessly to end homelessness. “A lot of people have nobody to call or look out for them and being that person makes me feel great,” he said. “The reality of knowing that everyone I contact may not have an immediate housing solution due to lack of affordable housing is tough. I love seeing results and being involved with someone finally reaching housing stability.”

When asked why he is proud of the work he does, Aaron said “I love that One80 Place is consistent and diverse within the community and we provide so many opportunities for people to truly change their lives and become independent. We utilize funding the best way possible to push forward in our mission and ensure everyone is helped according to their needs.”
